A Message from the PY27 Chapter President

Welcome to Program Year (PY) 2027!

It is an honor to serve as President of the NCMA St. Louis Gateway Chapter for PY27.

As we recognize our Chapter’s 60th anniversary, we have an opportunity to honor those who built this organization while ensuring it remains relevant to today’s acquisition workforce.

The contract management profession continues to evolve through acquisition reform, emerging technologies, cybersecurity requirements, supply-chain risk, and workforce challenges. Our Chapter must provide practical opportunities for members to strengthen their knowledge, expand their professional networks, and remain prepared for these changes.

During PY27, our efforts will focus on three priorities: professional development, government–industry engagement, and membership and leadership development.

We will offer relevant educational programs addressing current contracting issues and provide a professional forum where government, industry, academia, and other acquisition professionals can exchange perspectives. We will also create opportunities for mentoring, certification support, committee participation, volunteering, and future Chapter leadership.

Success will require the active participation of both our officers and members. I encourage you to attend events, recommend topics and speakers, invite colleagues, volunteer, and consider future leadership opportunities.

I look forward to working with you to make PY27 a productive and successful year.
